Why am I not receiving Stemble emails?
If you're waiting for a signup, verification, or notification email from Stemble and it hasn't arrived, it may have been filtered by your email provider.
Here are a few quick things to check.
Start here
- Search your inbox for “Stemble.” This can help find an email that was automatically moved to another folder or category.
- Check your Spam or Junk folder. If you find a Stemble email there, mark it as Not Spam or Not Junk.
- Check any filtered inbox tabs or folders. For example, Gmail may place messages in Promotions, while Outlook may place them in Other.
- If you're using a school or work email address, check your quarantine. Your institution may use additional email security that filters messages before they reach your inbox.
If you use Microsoft Outlook
Check your Junk and Other folders
Start by checking your Junk Email folder.
If you use Focused Inbox, also check the Other tab. If you find a Stemble email there, move it to Focused to help Outlook place similar emails there in the future.
You can find more information in Microsoft's guide to Focused Inbox.
Check your Microsoft 365 quarantine
If you use Outlook through your school or workplace, a Stemble email may have been quarantined by your organization's Microsoft 365 security settings.
Follow Microsoft's instructions for finding and releasing quarantined messages.
Depending on your organization's settings, you may be able to release the email yourself or request that your IT administrator release it for you.
If you use Gmail
Check Spam and Promotions
First, check your Spam folder. If you find a Stemble email there, select Not spam.
You should also check the Promotions tab. If a Stemble email appears there, you can move it to your Primary inbox to help Gmail categorize similar messages appropriately in the future.
Add Stemble to your contacts
You can also add Stemble's email addresses to your Google Contacts to help Gmail recognize future messages from Stemble:
Still not receiving the email?
If you've checked the steps above and still can't find the email:
- Make sure you're checking the email address associated with your Stemble account.
- If you're using a school or work email address, ask your IT team to check whether Stemble emails are being blocked or quarantined.
- Contact Stemble Support and let us know which email you're expecting, such as a signup, verification, or notification email. If possible, include the email address associated with your Stemble account and approximately when you expected to receive it.
We'll be happy to help you figure out where it went.
